getting a guitar

i managed to get a cheap guitar and amp package. a craftsmen strat copy and a line 6 amp for roughly 300 sg dollars with a tuner, guitar strap, stand is a pretty good deal. I will have to find some time to restring it from its factory strings and test out how it sounds, but have been buried under a mountain of tests and assingments. looking forward to the term break (about 2 weeks from now) so i can really start learning.

week 1- the first step!

Today i managed to find my old guitar for dummies book in my book shelf. a little dusty but otherwise in healthy condition with no pages missing. I have also begun asking around my friends if they have any old guitar tat they are not playing anymore that i could borrow. Hopefully i will be able to find one, or i might have to buy a guitar. If i manage to get one by this week, i will be able to start following the book by next monday! that is about all the progress i have for now, hopefully next week will be better!
